Feature Follow Friday: Saving Books

Feature Follow Friday is a blog hop hosted by Parajunkee Alison Can Read. It's a way for bloggers and readers alike to make some new friends and gain some new followers as well. The point of this hop is to follow other bloggers. I follow you, you follow me.

Also, this week's featured blogger is Coffee and Characters & Bookworm Book Reviewsso make sure you check them out too!

While I do prefer GFC and/or Bloglovin follows, if you would like to follow me via email/twitter etc, that's great too! Also, please leave a comment so I can follow you back!

Question of the Week

Your house is burning down and you have time to select three books you own to take with you. Which three books would you pick?
Oh, the horror! I really can't decide. I think, off the top of my head, I would have to go with The Lord of the Rings, The Book Thief and my Harry Potter series (I'm just going to lump them together as one book).

So yeah, that's probably the three books I would save. Which books would you pick?

  1. What makes your copies of them so special? Signed? Or are they just favorites? Am very curious about people's answers to this one. My answer didn't turn out to be what I thought it would... http://www.bookpunks.com/your-house-in-on-fire-you-have-time-to-grab-three-books/

    1. Favourites, plus the fact my HP books are in Chinese and it's too difficult (and expensive) to fly back to China just to replace those. :D

  2. Nice! I would want to grab more than three as well! Though even leaving behind the books I have outside my room would make me sad! But I did choose three like a good girl, bad girl wants to say break the f---ing window and start gently tossing the books out! I'll throw some blankets out and aim for them!

    1. Haha, that's true, since the house is burning already, who cares about a broken window :D

  3. The house is on fire not really gonna think about books :)
I'm grabbing my tablet, my photo books and the signed books. I don't really have a favorite book I can't live without.

    1. That's true. Other things take priority when there's a fire going around :D

  4. After being the dutiful cat mommy, and making sure my kitty is safely out, I'd dive back in and grab my Harry Potter books. Although it has occurred to me that I should probably just invest in a fireproof safe instead and save myself the heartache and 3rd-degree burns.

  8. It would have to be my rarer books for me, that's if I grabbed any at all. I'm leaning towards the 'grab the kindle and run' strategy.
