Top Five Authors I Own the Most Books Of

TTT is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish

I don't think I have enough to list five authors so I'm going to go for five. Also, this is purely by volume and not by my level of enjoyment (though of course, I enjoy all these books too!).

1. Nora Roberts
Nora Roberts: Prolific writer
Me: Reader of romance (especially back in high school when I first discovered her)
The above two statements equals lots and lots of Nora Roberts books on my shelf (both physical and digital). I think apart from a few books that have been released in the last couple of years that I have missed but I'm pretty sure I've read most of her older works.

2. Joanna Campbell
The Thoroughbred series is a childhood favourite of mine and I think I have about 30 or more of her works in a box somewhere in storage.

3. Bonnie Bryant
The Saddle Club is another childhood favourite of mine that I have collected over the years.

4. J.K. Rowling
I have a feeling J.K. Rowling is going to be a common feature on a lot of people's list today. I've got double the amount of volumes since I have the Chinese version too (see my previous haul here).

5. Rick Riordan
I'm a relatively new comer to Rick Riordan but I gobbled up his Percy Jackson and the Olympians series over a couple of days.

So yeah, those are my top five most-owned authors. What are yours? :)

  1. I am also a fan of Rick Riordan and binge read the first 6 books in the series and then had to play the waiting game for the rest to be released =/. I borrowed them all from the library, but I do wish that I owned them.

  2. I only read Rowling and 2 of Riordan's books. I definitely want to read more of RR though, loved the two PJ books.
As for Roberts, I read a few J D Robb from the library and quite liked them, too.
    Happy reading!

  3. I think it is really neat to see the lists this week because, to some degree, they represent what we read as children (or to our children). So often we are busy focusing on the here and now that we forget to look back on the special books that built our literary foundation. Here is my list and you will see that I have several books that were special to my children (and me) while they were growing up. MyTTT-Anne@HeadFullofBooks

  4. Nora Roberts has a jillion books out there - so quick and fun to read!

Oh, I'm jealous of your Harry Potter books in Chinese! I'm surprised they didn't change the covers.

  5. J.K. Rowling has to be on everyone's list! Who doesn't love Harry Potter :) Great list!

If I had just held on to all my juvenile series books, my Tenner would look very different from how it does now! I had Nancy Drew, Sweet Valley High, Sweet Valley Twins, Sweet Valley Kids, The Unicorn Club, and even Goosebumps! I never got into The Saddle Club, though, so I didn't collect the books. The Gymnasts was more my style. =)

  7. Nice! Lots of Rowling! I only read her HP series, none of the extras or her new adult books. So 7 wasn't very high for me and my shelves. Still love her though!

    Here's my Tuesday Post
